This place is a hidden gem! I absolutely love it! Being able to take children to the pool and then head right back to the waterfront to relax in a lounger on the beach is incredible! They do bag checks and metal detectors at the gate so you feel a little safer than the public beaches! The staff is so friendly and great service! The tiki bar was great. We ordered the salmon BLT wrap and it was really good! During the week they play some relaxing country music over the speakers which is nice! On the weekend they had a live band which was cool! Highly recommend going here!!!

We rented a cabana and Emily B. was our server. Her service was attentive, informative and very pleasant. Our cabana had a u shaped couch, table, fan, and fridge. It was very pleasant to get out of the sun since we had a 3mth old with us. Our view was spectacular. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 was the hard plastic lounge chairs. Just bring a couple of plush towels.

Took family to Paradise yesterday first time since it reopened. We used to go regularly but stopped going several years ago. Today was a great day. Beach was clean with plenty of chairs. Pool and restrooms were clean. Food service on beach was good and reasonably prices. Jake was our beach server. He was very nice. It was so good to see Paradise restored to its earlier status. We will be coming back regularly again. We did not try the restaurant this trip.

I stopped by here to have a couple of cold drinks and get some appetizers. After we had watched the tall ship sail into the Elizabeth River. We had the calamari and the eye tuna bites. Both were delicious. The calamari was tender and not rubbery. Our drinks were cold. The service was excellent. The views are fantastic. Good friendly atmosphere.

This is seriously my favorite spot to spend the summer, even more than any of the local tourist beaches. The atmosphere is always great, and it never gets old coming out here. Whether I’m playing beach volleyball, relaxing by the water, or just hanging out with friends, I always end up having an amazing time. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, stay active, and make some great memories. Every summer, I find myself coming back here again and again because it has everything I need for a fun and relaxing day. Definitely one of my favorite places to be when the weather warms up.
